Hey everyone,
I know most of you don't know me at all, but if there's one thing I know about people on this site it's that when people need help, you guys are there for them. =)
I'm just asking for prayer because I'm struggling a lot right now. I once thought my faith was unshakeable but right now God seems so far away and even when I pray I don't feel like I'm getting any answers and there is a lot going on in my life that I can't bear without Him.

I understand, Remember that our faith is shakeable because we're imperfect. God's love for us isn't, it's always the same. If you feel far away from God maybe it's a change in your behavior as of late. Examine your lifestyle, has anything changed that might of caused you to feel farther away? Your in my prayers.

I am sorry that you are feeling far from Him. It is worth remembering that our feelings can't be trusted. They are fickle and don't always bow to the knowledge of who He is.
If things look dark and faith would fail, sing again the song of the vineyard: "I the Lord do keep it; I will water it every moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day." And be assured that, if Jehovah keep the branch night and day, and water it every moment, a life of continuous and unbroken fellowship with Christ is indeed our privilege.
Might I suggest that you spend some time in the Psalms? I'm convinced that God loved David's heart because David actually shared it with Him. You will notice over and over again that David thinks that God has abandoned Him. But he kept fighting until he could once again remind himself who He is. Always faithful and always near.
