Moving today

Question:
Hey folks,
I'm moving to Victoria today. If you think about me, would you pray for me to have a smooth time checking in, maybe even get to church tonight at this church that a lot of U Vic students go to (which probably won't be my home church)?
You have to take a ferry across the Strait of Georgia to get to Victoria, and while that's not terribly disconcerting (they're pretty safe, and BC ferries has drastically tightened their safety regulations since), there was a terrible accident a few months ago in which one of BC ferries' fleet, the MV Queen of the North (one of their older, smaller vessels used to run one of the crossings on northern Vancouver Island, I think - which I will not be travelling on - the vessels they use for the Tsawwassen-Victoria crossings are the much larger, much more modern Spirit class) , ran aground and sank, and several passengers on board did not escape.
Also, just pray that my roomies will be decent folk and that we can keep our various annoying tendencies in check.
Answer:
Of course Ryan. I remember when that accident with the Queen of the North happened.
I will pray that God will use you in the lives of your roommates and they in your life. You will learn to work things out with each other. Living with others is always a good way to see what work still needs to be done with your character. (Can you tell I shared a room for most of my life?)
Answer:
Hey folks, I'm all safe and sound in my room in Victoria. I've met one of my roomies, Tom, and he seems like an alright guy. His girlfriend is in the same program as me, but she's in third year and I'm in second.
Yeah.
My other two roomies are still MIA.
Answer:
Glad to hear you got there safe and sound, hope your roomies get there too. MIA sounds so...military
Answer:
I just met our third roomie, Ishad, this morning. I've been out all day, so maybe our fourth roomie has arrived while I was gone. Nobody's (visibly) here right now, which could mean they're either sleeping or partying.
Answer:
I'm glad it's going well for you.
