Ok I'll tell a bit of the story. I told him all my feelings for a certain girl, and he promised me not to tell anyone. He went and told his friends everything. As a matter of fact, they sat around and mocked me. I won't go into how I found out, but there's more.

He always claimed to have this spiritual gifting to know what people are going through. He did seem to have it, too, he knew what was going on with me and a certain friend of mine. Going a little deeper, I had a bad dream around that time that was a bit demonic in its nature. It involved me being in this basement area, and there were two characters looking at me through a small window. Just to kind of test him, I asked him to describe them. He said, "Two prostitutes with overdone mascara," which is exactly what they were. I don't know if that was the exact description he gave, but he was definitely right about the mascara, and I know he was accurate. When he told me, I felt this kind of shudder, this chill. I wasn't sure what to think of it at the time, but I've had this feeling whenever it came to occultic subjects.

Eventually I had to start putting two and two together. That doesn't seem like a question that'd be so easy to know the answer to. He's either getting this gift from God or satan, and I know from the fruits he's bearing that this would not be from God. If he was half the Christian he made himself to be, he wouldn't have spilled my nearly two months of confiding in him then making fun of me behind my back. There's just a great deal of other things to say that he's not half the Christian he tries to look like. I know for sure that that power wasn't from God because the fruits bore don't match up.

Come to think of it, these nightmares and demonic dreams started around the same time I met him... basically, I've had several dreams over the past year (average once a month, last one being on Halloween, if I remember, or just after that), where I could feel what I promise you was some kind of evil spirit. It's a terrifying feeling, it grips you, pins you down, you can't scream, you try to rebuke satan but you can't, it's all very weird and very frightening. It's not just some Hollywood monster chasing after you, I promise you I felt actual demonic spirits. The shock and horror just ran very deep, like something very deep inside you was being greatly shook up and disturbed.

It's an ugly situation. Please pray for him, and for everyone else involved in the backstabbing.

I don't know, I could be completely wrong about the occultic thing and the thing with the two women was a coincidence or he somehow knew how to answer the question.

So yeah, I'm concerned he might be in the occult, and pray for him and those involved. I'm not going to be friends with them anymore, but I hope one day they'll change. Mmngh...

And I guess I'll throw myself in for a prayer request on just handling the situation.

So all you really have to base these feelings / suspicions on is the fact that he broke a promise and guessed (you admitted that you don't remember all of what he said; if he had hit it dead-on, you would have remembered it because you obviously remember the dream) something about a bad dream you had? To me, it seems like you're using your jump-to-conclusions mat just a bit too much here. Don't start praying for someone to get out of the occult when you don't even know that he's involved in any sort of occult activity at all. That's just presumptuous and prejudicial. It sounds like all that's really happening is you're upset that he broke his promise to you, which is understandable, but that's a sign of human weakness, not of demonic activity.

I have had horrible nightmares for years. It has nothing to do with an occultic individual.
