(This may be an abrupt way to start a paragraph):
I think I'm having a trust issue with God. I think the reason I don't see Him in my life is I haven't exactly asked Him to be in every area of my life, nor have I realized that He can indeed be there. I think I come on here far too often looking for help, or asking others for help while completely neglecting God's help. That may be because people on here can give more immediate help, and God doesn't usually speak to people to give them verbal advice. Please pray that I will actively seek God, instead of sort of skirting around Him, wishing for Him and never really receiving Him; and pray that I'll keep my nose out of Advice and/or Theology for a while in lieu of asking God for help (Although I can't resist writing emotional poetry ).

Wonderful! It always comes back to the basics - have you noticed that? I have to be reminded of this myself fairly often. It's usually when I've been trying to figure things out on my own and God has to remind me that He doesn't need my help with the plan!!
