Question:
It's been about two weeks, but it is still serious. The last day of our churches high school youth camp went quite badly with two injuries. The least of the two was a guy jumping into the nearby lake and hitting his face on a rock. He now has a bunch of stitches and staples in his face.
The more serious injury took place during the game - an obstacle course. I don't know where or how, but there was a bunch of mud somewhere. One of the guys slipped in it and broke his neck. He was quickly lifeflighted out to the hospital. He had no feeling below the neck. He has now had several surgeries, and has some feeling in his arms. However, the doctors are saying (from what I hear) that he will never be able to use his legs again. Obviously this has been really hard on everyone, so a lot of prayer would be appreciated for the high schoolers, and especially this guy (I believe his name is Matt).
