lately i've lost all faith. i can't even believe anymore and it really scares me. i'm trying to work through a few addictions right now and i feel completely alone. i need him. but i don't know. just please pray.

I know that somtimes it feels like we lose our faith, but no mater how we feel we serve a living God! Who is right there beside us, no ,matter what we do. If we fall, than he wants to pick us up, If we stumble he wants us to lean on him, if we are lost, than we can look to him for guidence. Even if nobody else cares, he does. Keep praying , keep strong!
He knows what you are going through, and the temptaion you have in trying to get over any addictions.. i'll pray for ya, and if you need anything pm me!

Praying for you, Sarah. You might want to read some Psalms. David often started off by saying how desperate he was, sometimes he was angry with God, sometimes he was sure that God had abandoned him. By the time he gets to the end, he has renewed his faith. Consider Psalm 13:
1 How long, O LORD ? Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
2 How long must I wrestle with my thoughts
and every day have sorrow in my heart?
How long will my enemy triumph over me?
3 Look on me and answer, O LORD my God.
Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death;
4 my enemy will say, "I have overcome him,"
and my foes will rejoice when I fall.
5 But I trust in your unfailing love;
my heart rejoices in your salvation.
6 I will sing to the LORD,
for he has been good to me.
When I feel far from God, it helps me to know that every single Christian in history and in the present has suffered with this same problem. So you feel that you have lost your faith - you are in good company!
The older we get, the more personal history we have to look back on, so I think this gets a little easier as we get older. I can look back on things now and see how God got me through some really hard times, and some of the suffering makes more sense now. You can probably already look back on some things and see how God was able to use bad situations for His purposes. Other things won't be clear for many years.

mrs. m- i thought about some things you said. reading the scripture and looking back on what he's done. i remembered one specific time. i broke down crying today. i don't know why but something hit. i still don't know what it was. i think it might be a good thing.
