In doubt

Question:
Lately I've been having terrible doubts about whether or not I was actually saved, whether or not my conversion was true, whether or not I actually believe, or whether or not I actually have a relationship with God. I have a lot of trouble imagining the figures in the Bible as having existed, it all just seems so unreal and far away (and it's not really it's because it's the Bible either, I have just as much trouble imagining Nero or Constantine to have ever existed). It never seems like God is telling me anything either, or maybe I am just explaining His messages away as something else and/or not paying attention to them, because I don't have the eyes to see, or the ears to hear. Please pray that I'll find my way, I've been really confused about which direction I should be moving in or even how to find Him It seems like it's always one step forward, two steps back.
Thanks,
~Jen
Answer:
Dear jen, I pray that Jesus Personally speaks with you....never doubt your relationship with GOD ... John10:27-28 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand.
Remember Jesus Laid down his life for your and me John10:15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep.
God Bless

hey!
Sometimes we struggle with God feeling far away, but the beauty of it is [i]he's not[i] He is with you no matter where you are,how you feel, or what you do. You are his child that he bought with his blood. Don't buy that you aren't saved ect. It's just lies. Think of a relationship with a person. You have times that you love each other so much, you never want to be apart, then you have times when that person feels distant, and you feel frustrated. You are in a relationship with God, and his mind, love and power is so great, that we can't fathom alot of things. For example, the human mind can't fathom eternity, everything we know will have an end. Somtimes when God feels far away to me I go somplace that I can be alone, and look up at the sky and pray " God, I know your out there, but I can't feel you with me.. um.. did you forget about me?!" (: Tell God how you feel, talk to him like your best friend, you don't have to pray with " thous & thy's" . He is always right by you, we serve a living God, not some idol a person created. A humans mind very much relieys on our senses ( touch, taste, hear ect.) and what we can't "sense" isn't real, so let me ask you a question that is a bit off the subject. Do you belive or ever have doubted oxygen? I mean how do you really know that you really need it to survive? You, can't feel, hear ,smell, taste or see it but you know it is there, right? All I'm trying to say is trust God, and not our human way o looking at things. Emotions will come and go, but our God will never change. He loves you more than anything, he is there, never forget that.
" I will never fail you. I will never abandon you." Hebrews 13 :5
" If we die with him, we will also live with him, If we endure hardships we will reing with him. If we deny him, he will also deny us. If we are unfaithful, he remains faith ful , for he cannot deny who he is." 2 Tim. 2: 11-13
" I will live in them, and walk among them. I will be their God, and they will be my prople." 2 Cor. 6:16
" For we don't live for ourselves or die for ourselves. If we live, it's to honor the Lord. And if we die; it's to honor the Lord, SO whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord." Romans 14:7-8
" I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resourses He will empower you with inner strength, through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in yuor heart as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God's love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of the life and power that comes from God. Now all the glory to God who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to acomplish infinitely more than we might ask, or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen." Eph. 3 :16-21
Answer:
Thanks for your prayers, guys, and your advice . Thanks to God and your prayer, I believe I'm getting over this. I feel that it's most important that I don't give up; I will bear the Scripture you posted in mind.
Answer:
But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus' sake, so that his life may be revealed in our mortal body. So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.
2Cor 4:7-11

Always remember : That you are a Jar cas ur made outta dust you will be preplexed and wil be pressed hard from all ways in your life but always remember Jesus is with you and all his treasures are in you and you carry the Death of Christ that others may recieve life throught you.
