Katrina has taken such a toll on our church family. The destruction, disruption in lives, and general stress has just been too much for many of the elderly in our area. Yesterday we lost "granny", one of our founding members of the church. Ms. Ethel was loved by all of us and we will miss her so much. Please pray for her family and for our church. It's so hard to see the good in all the bad that has been happening in the New Orleans area since Katrina.
