Question:
Hey guys!
Ok, so in EXACTLY one week, I'll be on a plane to Texas for my missions trip to the TexMex border. I'm a bit scared now, and i don't know why. I need prayer for my final days of preparation. (in the next few days i need to pack, buy supplies, write a 2 min and a 10 min testimony, write 2 devotionals, send more thank you notes, memorize a Bible story, and work really hard on my Spanish...) I'm running out of time to get things done, and i'm a bit stressed out. I've had procastination problems before, but now this is a bit more serious... I've had a really hard time finding time to work on my missions stuff since i'm working full time now and i'm exausted after work, then i have responsibilities at home... it's hard for me. Oh, and did i meantion that i'm scared to fly on planes?? yeah, it's freaking me out a bit... So i'd LOVE to get some prayer as i finish up all my work, and prayer for my fear of flying. My team needs prayer, cuz i know that some of my teammates haven't finished their missions work either. Please pray for our families too, especially mine. Many of you know that my mother died in February, so since then all the cooking and cleaning and such has been done by me. I don't know how my dad and little brother will do during the 2 weeks that I'll be gone, so please pray for them. Also pray for the Uth Intern at my church who will take over while our Uth Pastor is on the missions trip with us. I'm struggling with a relationship issue with one of my teammates... Seth... the love of my life... So we both need prayer for that, we don't know how to act around each other any more, and it still hurts my heart every time i see him. it's turned into a really confusing relationship... Please pray for team unity and communication for all of us, not just Seth and me. Please pray for all of the people we will have contact with on our trip, pray that their hearts will be open to the message of Jesus Christ. I know that many of you have already been praying for us and I appreciate it SOOOOO much, this is just one last reminder that I'll be in Mexico and I'll need your prayer more than ever. When I get home, I'll be excited to tell you all about my trip and tell you how I saw God working in each and every one of us. God Bless and thank you so much!!
