Question:
I don't often post in here, but I am slightly freaking out.
I have a scholarship audition on friday. I desperately need any scholarships (any free money, really!) that I can get for school. tuition is steep, and I am the oldest of four children. it won't be too long now before my brothers need money for college, so I am trying as best I can to pay my own way.
please pray that my hands will be steady, my mind will be clear, and that I will actually remember my music. also, this audition was scheduled today, so I haven't prepared like I want to. as it is, my fingers are ready to fall off from practising, and I am nowhere near where I want to be. please pray that God will work a miracle in this and that I am granted some money.

correct. classical and steel-string (worship music) both.
to make matters more complicated, one of my friends is trying to schedule an audition too. I really hope she gets it, but I am concerned we'll be competing for the same money. I absolutely hate competing with friends. you can check my journal for the full details, but let it suffice to say I need prayer for calm and grace, as well as musical stuff.

thank you guys. your prayers mean a lot. basically, everything until I walked on campus was pretty much murderous, but after I was situated in the room, all my nerves and all the frustrations of the previous days disappeared.
I'm not sure if they are going to grant me money or not, but I am not too worried about it anymore. I am really glad I got a chance to meet the chair of the dept. before I go and see her for academic counseling. she was quite nice and pleasant.
as for my playing...
I was pretty much shocked. on two days of practise, no sleep, and aching fingers, I actually played the etude the best I have ever played it. it was amazing.
the worship song was just fun. she sang with me.
anyways. I am going to post details in my journal, but overall it went great. I feel really good about it. thanks so much for praying ya'll, it made the hugest difference!
