Job interview
Question: Hi guys, I've got an interview this Sunday (11th) for a job as Worship Pastor at a church in Cambridge. I'm driving down in the morning, meeting the vicar etc. and having an interview in the afternoon and then I am leading worship there in the evening service. The job looks so amazing, if I'd sat down beforehand and described my dream job it would have probably looked very similar to this! Anyway it would be awesome if you guys could pray for me and for the church elders as they decide. I know that God is in control of everything and that I will only get it if it is His will, pray that I would trust that while I am there and afterwards as I wait for their decision. Also it would be good to pray for wisdom both for the church as they decide who to employ and for me as I decide whether it is the right place for me to be. thankyou very much God bless, Rich Answer: I will pray for you and the church elders, Rich. Answer: I'll pray. -In Prayer- Answer: I didn't get the job Dear Richard, I am writing to thank you very much for coming to Cambridge and for auditioning for the post of Worship Leader at Holy Trinity. We were all very impressed by your worship leading ability and we enjoyed meeting you. However, I'm afraid that on reflection we felt that your lack of experience would tell against you in Cambridge and that while you would be a very strong candidate indeed in a few years time, once you had more experience under your belt, for now the job here would be too steep a hill to climb in one jump. Thank you again for coming. I'm sorry that this news will be a disappointment to you and hope that it is not long before the way forward becomes clear to you. With all good wishes, Rupert Charkham quite a positive reply, I still think this is what I am called to do, I just don't think it is quite yet. thanks for your prayers Answer: Rich, that just means that He has something even better in store for you. If this is what you are lead to do, the right opportunity will come along. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
