House bombing

Question:
Prayers please. Apparently my neighbor's home has just been bombed. I was downstars with my parents (our downstairs is mostly underground) and when I came up I saw flashing red and blue lights. I looked outside and there were three fire engines and a number of police cars. I called my dad and he ran up and we went outside and looked around. We didn't want to get in the way of all of the firemen and police officers so from our front door we could see smoke and what looked like the front door laying in the front yard.
My dad went back downstairs. Moments later a police officer knocked on my door and asked me if I'd heard a boom or seen any strange cars. I said I hadn't then I called my parents up to talk to him.
A bit after 9 PM me, my mom, and my dad were exercising by taking laps around the neighborhood. I decided to retire early and hadn't noticed anything weird the entire time. My parents decided to take another lap and remembered seeing an out of place car. She said the people inside were making weird chanting noises. It might've been the radio. Well, a few hours later this bombing happens.
I suspect the reason this has happened is because my neighbor is a federal agent. I shouldn't spread his exact job on the internet but suffice to say, certain people don't like him. He's told us in fact. I personally wouldn't want to mess with the guy. He's a really nice guy but he can kick ass if need be and carries a firearm (duh). Whoever bombed his house was not only going after him but his entire family (wife, a daughter Jeremy's age, a son a few years younger, and twin daughters in 8th grade). This is so odd. There are still two fire engines outside and some police cars.
I am just waiting for the media to swarm all over this.

As far as I know all of them are OK and they're all saved. We went to the same church as they did for many years. They're a great family. I am especially fond of the patriarch. He is a wonderful guy.
Answer:
GoodNESS. I'm glad they're all OK

Turns out it wasn't a bombing. The Police kind of jumped the gun on that one, although it was never official. Apparently an aerosol can blew up but it doesn't seem like an aerosol can could do that much damage. The windows are all blown out and everything.
Anyway, I'll keep you posted.

aerosol cans don't blow out windows normally...
ive blown up several, hairspray, pepper spray (blew up in my face), and pam kitchen spray as a kid. None of these had enough force to blow out windows, The cans usually rupture, not frag...
I'm with you, something smells like fish about what you describe. Still praying.
Answer:
Yeah... There's no way that just an aerosol can could blow out the windows and possibly DOOR of a house... At least a NORMAL untampered with aerosol can... hmmmmm... Definantly fishy... I'm praying, and i'm glad everyone is ok and Saved..
Answer:
Yeah. That seems a little odd.
Incase it was a bomb, I'll pray that they don't try again.
Where was the family at the time?
