Hey guys. Today I sliced my finger open on a can at work. I got some advice from an ER nurse I know, and she suggested either go into the ER and get some stiches, or goto walgreens and buy some steri-strips. Steri-strips seemed to be the most reasonable solution, so that's what we're going with. I understand there is a slight risk here for infection, or just improper healing. Which brings me here. I just need prayer for my finger. Thanks.

Done. You can also put super-glue in the cut and hold it closed until the glue sets. Really, it works. And definitely clean that cut out well daily if you don't glue it shut.

The steri-strips hold it closed fine. I was also advised not to remove the strips, untill they fall off. So once that is, I'll clean it again. I feel more comfortable letting it atleast scab closed, than I do super-glueing it. While I know ER rooms do it often, they also have a different kind of glue.
