I would like to ask prayer for my husband and I.
Josh is going on April 11, to see a recruiter for the State Highway Patrol. Please pray that everything goes ok, that he gets accepted into the OSHP academy, and that he is strong enough to go through the 7 months of bootcamp and FBI questioning.
This is a really big request for me. As of now Josh is driving truck for a local food distributor, it pays ok, but not enough for us to be able to manage having children without me working to help out with the bills. I am kinda getting baby crazy, but I am not willing to keep, and hold down my full time job and let someone else raise my children. We don't have anyone around us that would watch our (potential) children, and I am not so sure I could trust a complete stranger with a baby. So we are really hoping that everything works out, so I can go to part time, and so he can be the bread winner, while I stay home with the kids.
Another thing is he will be in a marine-like bootcamp for 7 months with weekends off. Please pray that he will be able to deal with the pressure that will be put on him while he is there, and that he will have God-given strength to get through this hard time.
He has scoliosis, so we are also hoping that will not be a factor when he gets his physical.

I have been praying about this today, LP. I pray for God's will in this, and I know that if this is the plan that He has for you, that Josh will get this job - and if this isn't His plan, you don't want any part of it anyway!

Well for your update! He went in today, I guess they just showed him a 5 minute video and gave him some paperwork on what the physical requirements will be for him to be able to be accepted into the academy. He also filled out his application. It will probably be 3-4 weeks before we hear anything else about it.
We were also told today that Kenworth is hiring, so he may put an application in there as well. Nevertheless please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. We just need God to intervene, and "take the wheel" and make a way for us to be able to live.
