Question:
Hi everyone I am a new Chrisitan, I really want to live for God, but sometimes I feel that im not living up too it. I have start going to church, and reading the bible to help me get closer to God.
I know he loves me because 5 years ago I was hit by a car, I only boke my arm I weigh about 100 pds. soaking wet there is no way I am suppose to be alive today. I know that it was by his grace that keep me alive. I mad at myself because it took me 5 years to figure that out. Know that I have I want to live my life for him.
I just need you guys to pray for me to make it though. Some days I just want to give up (because it's easy to live a life of sin) but then I think about my accident and God could have given up on me and let me die and he didn't.
How do u grow closer to God?

I count my blessings and give thanks everyday for making me and acknowledge Him in everyway possible.

Very true. I will be praying for you.
Hmm... basically what you do. I go to church and Read my Bible daily. And before either of those I pray that God will speak to me through Hs word.

hey! i am so glad that you found your Father! i know how you feel... those times when its sooo easy to give in. but, listen, keep reading the bible! that is your encouragement. i also encourage you to try and break into a new christian group of friends, if you don't have one. it's easier to live for God that way.

It's also really important to plug in at a church.. .not just attend, really plug in. Find a way to serve, find people to hold you accountable- one of the purposes of the church is to help build up believers!!
