Question:
I currently am barely even able to talk. My throat has taken on some massive beating and it hurts pretty bad. I just need prayer that my voice gets better, espically so I can goto work tommorow. (I work at a pizza place and Need to be able to take orders.)

I am a singer and love to keep voice! I have long black hair too! Sorry about the ned for edit...God knew though!
Rest your voice and take some time to allow God to heal you.
It's important to wait on the Lord, you will renew your strength.
Isaiah 40:30-32 (NIV)

Update: Voice back.. Been back for a couple days but SOMEONE bumped the thread . But, I still have a tickle in my throat which is sometimes a bother at work while you're trying to cook and you have to wash your hands every 5 minutes.

Great to hear its coming back..what type of vocalist would you describe yourself as? Are you a lead-singer, back up vocalist or do you sing at all?

I'm mainly just a guitarist actually. I'll sing if I neccessarily have to, it can be anywhere from lead or backup. But, I wouldn't call myself a vocalist.
