Removing all "life support" from my dad this morning

Question:
I posted a month ago about my dad being in the hospital. He had pneumonia and then was found to have abscesses in his abdomen, one of which had ruptured. They did surgery and he seemed to be recovering , but a week ago he took a turn for the worse. He has been bleeding internally and they have been giving him tranfusions in the hopes he would get strong enough for another surgery. In the last few days his breathing has become very labored, he has had virtually no circulation to his legs, he has become increasingly confused (when he is even awake), and they determined that he is not strong enough to move enough oxygen/CO2 on his own.
The doctor called my brother early this morning and said that my dads toes have turned black and that unless they put him on a ventilator he will not survive because the CO2 has built up in his system. They can't control the internal bleeding and putting him on a ventilator will not help him get strong enough for surgery, but will just keep him "alive". Also, if they did put him on one, they would have to amputate at least part of one leg and possibly both to stop the spread of the gangrene.
My brothers have decided to stop all life support, and to just have them make my dad as comfortable as they can. I support their decision, as hard as it is, as there is nothing more the doctors can do.
So please pray for my family. It is especially hard on my brothers right now because they had to make this decision. Thanks

...God praise you for the life of this man and may his life be celebrated and always be remember. Let the family dwell on things that made this man great to them and not their decisions in his final days, comfort them, amen.
