In school I am trying to lead a girl to Christ. She is very stubborn. Please pray! When I tell her abortion and homosexuality are wrong, she says "Yea and it also says in the bible not to eat meat or wear certian clothes" What would be a simple way to explain how certian things are relavent? THANKS

did you kindly explain to her WHY abortion and homosexuality are wrong? did you tell her that in the bible it says that MAN and WOMAN are created to become one flesh after marriage? it doesnt' say that MAN and MAN are created to become one, or WOMAN and WOMAN are created to become one.
did you tell her that abortion is murder? did you tell her that the child is alive, if you can hear the heart beat. As soon as the fetus begins to develop, it is alive.. something can't continue to grow if it is dead. and if it was dead, you wouldn't have to abort it. but seeing that people to continue aborting baby's, it IS murder due to the fact that it has a heart beat and is growing. if she were to abort one of her children, she would be killing a part of her. The baby has half of her genes, which makes it part of her, meaning that she IS killing a part of herself.

well first of all.. the bible doesn't say not to eat meat, it says not to eat unholy or unclean animals, which would mean, pigs, sheep, birds other than ones specified in the bible, you aren't supposed to eat the animals with cleffed hooves.
2nd of all the bible doesnt' say that you have to wear certain clothes, it just says to be modest and not to reveal yourself because your body is a temple of God.

i never thought of it in that way.... but i guess that maybe if you tried she would understand.. you have to first of all explain to her "Ordo Salutis".. that's latin for "the order of salvation".... Regeneration, Justification, Sanctification, and Glorification.. if you know what those are.. because maybe she would begin to learn more and come closer to christ.. i still think that you should at least try explaining to her about abortion being wrong and WHY because it is important that you start explaining things when you talk to someone, or else they'll think that maybe.. just maybe, that you mean something totally different.. but hopefully i explained things well enough for you, and i hope that you understand that i am trying to help you out.. and i know this may sound crazy coming from a 15 year old.. but i do know a lot about thesethings, and if you ever want any information, i am sure that i can give it to you. im not trying to brag or anything.. its just that the church i went to was full of information, and we had to go to catechism every sunday nite, in order to like actually understand what the preacher was talking about.. well yea.. i don't really like telling people where i live.. but yea.. umm.. reply to this soon..

THANKS Don't just be a talking head. Live your witness. Show her what it looks like to follow Christ.
All you can do is pray that God would open her eyes. She is dead in her sins, and therefore has no desire to be in the Light. God's Truth - right and wrong - is like a flashlight on a nest of cockroaches: they avoid the light as much as they can. I doubt that any amount of statistic-listing and preaching will do any good: God has to speak to her heart. That is the only way she will see and understand the Truth.
So, continue to be a friend to her, make sure she knows what the Bible says about those things (but don't preach - it's a difficult balance to attain), but most of all, pray for her salvation.
You may never see the fruits of your labor. But you planted the seed, and God will water it, and in His timing, harvest it unto righteousness. You will probably never see the results of your witness: until Eternity. That's the best scenerio, though, so we don't get proud.
