It looks as thought homes will be threatened, and there is a fair-good possibility that mine will be one of them. The wind tends to blow from that direction toward my house at night.

Update on Big fire:
She has a name now. Mmhmm. The Harding Fire. She is over 1,000 acres, and only 25% contained.
It has already traveled quite a distance, but it was a quiet night. I have not heard much today yet.

By the way, I have to ask that if you are praying for this matter, please pray for the people who live in Loyalton Pines. They are closer to the fire than I am, and I feel that my house is pretty much safe from the fire. My whole neighborhood really is safe, thanks to a much larger fire 10 years ago.
