Car Wreck

Question:
well, i just got home from school - we had an early release due to freezing rain. on my way home, i came across a car wreck - car upside down in the ditch. it was somewhat bad when they released us... slushy-slick... not completely froze yet. not something you want to go over 30mph in.
anyways, i didn't get a good look at the car, but it may have been someone i knew. in the position it was in - upsidedown and in a deep ditch - i only got a look at the rear bumper and tail lights... it looked like a classmates car from school (another senior), but i'm not sure at all. (i didn't stop as there was already a police unit there and there was an ambulence sitting in the drive of the nearest house... so i'm guessing everything is OK)
but anyway, please pray for whoever was in that wreck. its kinda strange because i almost was in a wreck myself very close to there (around 1/2 mile) 2 days ago... going around 50 and hitting a patch of water... it was all i could do to stay out of the left lane where a car was, and that ended me up in the ditch. thankfully, it was the perfect spot to go off the road- virtually flat (another 20 or so feet would have ended me up in a drain ditch from a field that goes under the road... another 20 feet or so sooner and i would have ended up in a fence.) that shook me up, but there wasn't any damage to me or the car (or the other car)... my dad had to pull me out though.
so... just pray for this accident... and all the other accidents sure to come from this ice storm in the area - good portion of central-indiana... no clue on ohio and illinois. its been raining here for days on end... now its freezing.
thanks,
Tom
Answer:
I was in one where nobody was hurt, yet both cars were totaled. The accident I was in, if the car I was in had flipped over or slid into the oncoming traffic, I could have been killed! I'm praying! Let us know if you get any more details.
Answer:
alright, i've finally heard something - everything is basically shut down in the county and the country roads are horrible... dangerous to go over 10mph on because they are still glazed with ice. some have lost power (i lost mine for around 20 hours).
so, anyways, the car did indeed belong to whom i thought it did. i guess that she is ok, but the car is totalled. i really don't know any more about it, but it seems that the situation is fine and i really havn't heard of any other wrecks other than that one. its still really nasty, but it should start melting soon... supposed to hit 60 sometime next week. really wierd weather round here. freeze, thaw, freeze, thaw, deep-freeze, heat wave, freeze, ice
thanks for everyone who's prayed. i'll update this if anything else comes around from this ice storm.
