Job issues with my dad

Question:
We're not sure on the details, but due to some reorganization in the company, my dad is being asked to relocate to New Mexico and isn't sure if it is an option at all to stay here in Austin. Please pray that God will give him guidance on what to do, and if he decides to stay here and try to find other work, that he be successful in that.
As for me, if he ends up being transferred, I really don't know what I would do. For now, I am planning on going to college next fall, if I get enough scholarship money, and moving not long before that may mess me up pretty badly, so I would have to figure out whether I would stay here, despite his transfer, for the last few months before college. Again, please pray for guidance if I have to make that decision, but more importantly, pray that I don't have to decide on that. Thanks.
Answer:
I'm praying. Actually my dad is in a very similar situation, and I'm in quite the same situation you are, it's tough.
Answer:
Thanks, colin, I appreciate it. What exactly is going on with you?
Answer:
Well, my dad's coming up on a military retirement. He would like to retire as soon as he gets back from Iraq(He'll be back in January). But he's having a hard time getting an equal or better paying job for when he does retire. So, if he can't find anything locally the family will have to relocate somewhere else. We're hoping that this doesn't have to happen.
Answer:
Eh, not fun. I'll make sure to pray for your situation as well, then.
Answer:
my dad is working away from home too. i see him just on weekends. anyways, i hope it turns out the way God wants it to. im definately praying for ya.
Answer:
Well, that wouldn't be my position. If they took it, the family would move to New Mexico, and I would have to consider staying alone in Texas until college.
