Desperately seeking a job

Question:
Well my Senior Project is pretty close to completely done, and soon I'm gonna start a full-on job search. I pretty much need one because this fall I go to NNU and kind of need a laptop (which my parents won't pay for). My past efforts have yielding next to nothing. In the last two years I must have filled out at least 20 applications and the only thing I've gotten was an interview that went nowhere later.
Answer:
I'll pray that you can get a good job that you will enjoy.
Answer:
Your school might be willing to pay for your laptop. One thing I learned, and still haven't fully exploited, is that schools are willing and able to pay for a whole lot more than just what they offer up-front in scholarships. Case in point: I have a research assistantship for the normal term, and figured that I'd have to pay my way through a few summer courses this summer because no assistantships were technically offered for the summer. I went to the MBA director and asked, however, and she said she definitely wanted me to do an assistantship over the summer if I was going to be taking classes. I'd go to your department head / faculty advisor first and explain your need to them. They might be willing to give you a small job at the school to put toward a laptop.
