Question:
A while back, I posted about a friend whose life was going anti-God and such, and that I was praying for, but they just were going downhill. Recently, that friend started getting into alcohol, so I thought all was pretty much lost, but kept praying for her. Just today, she told me that, since Thursday, God's been really speaking to her, and she said that, this morning, she basically re-committed her life to Christ! I'm ecstatic about this! God is awesome! So that's the praise .
Prayer-wise: She definitely needs direction, such as what church to go to, maybe what youth group, etc. Her current ones don't necessarily "feed" her, though I dunno if that was a problem with her or the church. Either way, though, it could be an issue. Then just that she'd grow and mature in Christ even further, and that she'd be able to trust Him with everything, because there's certainly a lot. I purposely don't know the extent of it, to be honest, but I can imagine she's got a lot going on. She had a group of friends that were into smoking, drugs, etc., and they're pressuring her, so she needs to hold fast, stuff like that.
I'm very happy for her in this, and I hope she stays committed, 'cause it'll be a lot of work, I'm sure. I'd also appreciate a little bit of prayer about this, just to have the wisdom to be the person God wants me to be in her life, no matter how great or small.
